The Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf® Adriatico: Bohemian Brews

A few weeks ago, my siblings told me there was a new The Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf® nearby.  It is located in front of Bento & Snack (see previous entry).  So last friday, we Tsinoy Foodies joined the celebration of its formal launch in Adriatico, the capital's bohemian quarter where music and art scenes centered back in the 80's and 90's.  

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Adriatico is a two-storey cozy coffee store with a complementing glass house beside it.  

As a tribute to Adriatico’s popular artist hub, Penguin Café Gallery, the CBTL presented art exhibits followed by engaging discussions with art installation geniuses Cesare and Jean Syjuco and digital illustration maverick Dan Matutina.

In addition to their regular serving of the finest custom-roasted Arabica coffee and hand-plucked whole leaf teas, they offered spiked specialty coffee and tea as guests mingled with each other in an entertaining ambiance filled with techno grooves and house tracks mixed by DJ Joey Santos.
