Banana Salad with Duck |
|
Sellade Taoge Aglkan Asin (Beansprout with Salted Fish) |
The salads are an excellent place to begin embarking your Asian culinary adventure. I hope you don't get overwhelmed with heirs salad selections because there's more to follow. I don't know if this might help but I enjoyed the Banana Salad with Duck. =D
Viands
|
Skewers |
In picking your viand, don't miss the skewers which are flavorful, tender and succulent. They go well with the sauce too.
Desserts
|
Bubur Kacang Ijo (Stewed Green Bean with Palm Sugar) |
Although I don't enjoy green beans that much, the balance of creaminess and palm sugar did a great job in making the Bubur Kacang Ijo a delightful treat.
|
Baoloy (Taro Ball) |
The Baoloy reminds me of our local Ginataan. It had chewy taro balls in coconut milk.
|
Che Troi Nuoc (dumpling in ginger syrup) |
Not only is the Che Troi Nuoc delicately beautiful to the eyes, it is also as pleasurable to the taste buds.
|
Pumpkin Custard |
I enjoyed the mild and natural sweetness and flavor of the pumpkin. It was complemented by the simply custard too.
|
Vun Bai Tury (Pandan Leave Jelly) |
If you have always enjoyed Pandan Jelly, be sure to give the Vun Bai Tury a try. The texture is consistently smooth and the flavor is just perfect.

My Selections
|
My Plate |
Because of the numerous choices, I had plate after plate of their offerings. I began my dinner with a Japanese sashimi and maki platter. I also sampled some salads and savored as much of their Smoked Salmon as I could. For the main course, I recommend you try the Kanom Pang Na Moo (pork canape). That simple looking dish gave me a great first impression.
|
Teh Tarik (Black Tea & Condensed Milk), Avocado and Chocolate, Limade (Fresh Lime Juice) |
Drinks are also included in the Flavors of Asia. The Avocado and Chocolate is absolutely an outstanding and refreshing beverage and the rest are not far from it.
Check out the wide Asian selection at Flavors of Asia while you can (until July 31, 2012)!
