Garrett Popcorn Shop: Chicago Mix Popcorn

I'm a foodie to the extent that even when I watch TV, read books or relax and listen to some music, I just have to munch on something.  So when my dear cousin introduced me to a tin bucket of popcorn from Garrett Popcorn Shops,  I instantly got hooked.  

Garrett Popcorn Shops is a popcorn shop that is founded in Chicago since 1949.  They have gained popularity from fans all over the world.  Its shops has gone global reaching even in Asian countries like Hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.

One tin is best consumed within 7 days from opening.  Their popcorn is so good that I always manage to finish it in just a few days.  I love the Chicago Mix which is a combination of the sweet CaramelCrisp® with savory CheeseCorn™.  It really deserves to their best selling variant.

This flavor has a nice contrast of sweet and zesty.  Although the CaramelCrisp® can have an overwhelming sweetness when eaten alone, the CheeseCorn™  counters it with its rich but subtle taste.  The coating is just right so the popcorn are perfectly crisp.

Garrett Popcorn Shops is a must-try whenever available.  Although I'm pretty much happy with the Chicago Mix or the CheeseCorn™ alone, I'm eager to try their other offerings next.   Perhaps the larger tins so I can try two flavors at a time. Which one do you suggest?  Hope they open one here in the Philippines some time soon too.
