Teddy's Bigger Burgers: Hawaii's #1 Burger is Now in Manila

Last month, I was invited to be one of the first to try Teddy's Bigger Burgers. 

I was quite eager to try it out because I had no idea how Hawaiians enjoy their burger.  And, I'm also wondering how much bigger their burgers actually are.

It has a limited space with just a few dining and bar tables.  They adopt a pay-as-you order system.  They have the Teddy's Original Burgers which are simple burgers which are basic.  You can choose from Solo or Combo (with fries and drinks).  They also offer their burgers in three sizes: Big (5 oz.), Bigger (7 oz.) and Biggest (9 oz.).  From the Teddy's Original Burgers, you can upgrade it with the Teddy's Special Toppings (a wholesome combination of toppings and sauces) or individual toppings and sauces.
  

When you order your burgers, you can choose how it is cooked.  I'm told their default is the "Medium Well".  You can also choose the buns: Potato, Wheat or Lettuce Wrap.  The default is the Potato buns.  

They make use of 100% US Ground Chuck Beef which is grilled to perfection letting the oil and fats drip down for less guilt.

Aside from burgers, they also have Specials which are designed only for the Filipino market.

Teddy's Original Burgers Combo Big + Hawaiin Style (365 php +70 php)

The Teddy's Original Burgers Combo Big + Hawaiin Style is a Teddy's Original Burgers with Teri Sauce and Grilled Pineapple Paradise.  By going combo, you get some fries and drink.  The fries sliced thick and big.

Teddy's Original Burgers Solo Big + Bacado Burger (265 php +125 php)

Teddy's Original Burgers Solo Big + Kailua Burger with Onion Rings Small (265 php +150 php + 149 php)

While my friend ordered the prior two, I opted for the Teddy's Original Burgers Solo Big + Kailua Burger with Onion Rings.  I choose the lettuce wrap out of curiosity and for health benefits as well.   They basically wrapped my burger, sauces and toppings with lettuce leaves and paper.  I'm glad I chose the lettuc wraps as the burgers are really big even at 5 oz!  It was so heavy as their burger patties are thick, lean, meaty and juicy.  Not to mention that the onion rings are also big in size and served in generous portions.
 

 Kailua Burger

I highly recommend the Kailua Burger!  It's got Teri sauce, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and swiss cheese for a very sauces and flavorful experience.  I had my burger cooked Medium so as you can see it's very juicy and a bit pinkish.

Peanut Butter 12 oz. (120 php)

Their Shakes are very thick with 90% ice cream and 10% milk.  They aredefinitely, one of the best milkshakes in town!  I had to chose among the recommended best-sellers: Peanut Butter and Coffee.  The Peanut Butter is something new so I chose that.  It was so good that I finished the whole cup in a jiffy.  They also accomodate mixing flavor requests.

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Well, aloha Teddy's Bigger Burgers!  I hope you'll stay and expand more branches in the Philippines because I really enjoyed your burgers.  The price is a big hefty but so is their serving size so I feel it's justified.  I'll surely be back with the family after the lines will lessen a bit.
